Curanto (à Mapudungun: kurantu, 'pedregal') est une ancienne méthode traditionnelle de cuisson des aliments originaire de l'archipel de Chiloé, et utilise des pierres chaudes enfouies dans un trou recouvert de feuilles de pangue et de champas. Les composants fondamentaux sont les fruits de mer, certains crustacés et pommes de terre, ainsi que d'autres préparations traditionnelles de la même région comme le milcao et la chapalele, auxquelles sont ajoutées viandes et saucisses.
